Balanced Enchanting is a new mod for Minecraft that offers interesting changes to the enchanting system. In the original version of the game, the cost of enchanting tools and armor remains constant, regardless of your experience level. However, as is known, the amount of experience needed to level up increases linearly. Thus, enchanting at level 300 will cost you 50 times more than at level 30. Balanced Enchanting eliminates this problem by making the cost of enchanting and anvil operations fixed, regardless of your level. Now you won't have to worry about how much experience you need to accumulate to reach a certain level.
