Welcome to Compact Storage for versions 1.18 and 1.19! It has been some time since I had the chance to work on my projects in Minecraft, but that time has come! Compact Storage is now available for Forge and Fabric on versions 1.18 and 1.19. Both of these versions are fully identical in functionality, and this will be the goal for future updates as well. In the future, I plan to add even more creative and unique storage options. This port was made to bring the mod to new versions of Minecraft and allow me to develop even more. So, what is this mod about? Compact Storage started as a mod adding different levels of chests, but over time evolved into an upgradeable storage system. Compact Barrel, Chest, and Backpack start with an inventory size of 9x6 (yes, this is an upgrade from previous versions!), and can be upgraded with Storage Upgrades to a maximum size of 24x12. This allows for storing a lot of items in one block, which also applies to backpacks that can be upgraded by placing an upgrade in the offhand and clicking on the backpack. The main focus of this mod is on dense storage with an available upgrade path. I have many plans for advancing the mod, so stay tuned! Crafting recipes: Compact Chest, Compact Barrel, Backpack, Row Upgrade (can be used to upgrade any of the storage options, adds one additional row), Column Upgrade (can be used to upgrade any of the storage options, adds one additional column). All storage options can be dyed in-game!
