Extra Alchemy is a mod for Minecraft that expands the brewing system by adding more useful potions. To obtain potion recipes in-game, use a tool similar to REI. All potions in this mod are brewed at a regular brewing stand from common items and have standard variants: splash potions, lingering potions, and arrows; some of them can also have enhancements with redstone and glowstone.
The brewing stand can be customized. There are two types of people in this world: those who like the requirement of blaze powder for the brewing stand, and those who do not. I belong to the latter. Now in the configuration, you can set up the brewing stand to work with fire from below or any material related to fire/lava. This is somewhat slower, but I believe it's a good alternative to fuel, and it makes much more sense to me. Note that blaze powder will still work; this is just an alternative option. Temperature and conductive materials can be specified through the tags extraalchemy:heat_source and extraalchemy:heat_conductor.
Bottles are my version of potion stacks. Make a splash potion with an empty bottle to get a bottle of potion, or right-click an empty bottle to fill it with the first splash potion from your inventory. Bottles immediately apply the effect to the player and can stack up to 16. To create an empty bottle, use the same recipe as for a glass bottle, but instead of glass, place flint in the top center slot.
A potion bag is a convenient way to carry potions with you. You can store any drinkable potions inside and select one type for quick access. To open the bag interface, hold Shift and right-click on the bag. On a normal click, the potion will be applied, and when the selected type is exhausted, the next available one will be chosen. While holding the bag, you can use a key combination to choose an action when the potion is used up: deselect, select the next potion, or keep the unavailable one selected. You can also dye bags like leather armor! (They retain their settings and inventory).
Potion rings are a way to have a semi-permanent potion effect. Combine an empty ring with any active potion to get the corresponding ring. This feature can be disabled or configured in the configuration file. The ring will gradually apply the potion to the owner, and each available potion can be configured to require a different amount of experience for more powerful potions. Each potion also has a customizable duration when applied, and the experience cost and cooldown time can be defined separately. New potions with customizable experience costs, levels, durations, and cooldowns can be defined through the standard recipe system, which is automatically retrieved from the server upon connection.
Potion tooltip icons - starting with version 1.18.2, it became possible to see potion icons on the item tooltips that carry potions, such as drinkable/splash/lur color potions, arrow tips, bottles, potion rings, and loaded potion bags.
You can create modpacks with the installed mod, even outside of curseforge, but you cannot distribute the individual mod file. If you want a direct link to the file, please do not link to a specific file, but to the latest version. If you link to a specific file, your users will not get the relevant updates and will report bugs that have long been fixed. Please do not do this. Currently, several websites violate this policy, so if you downloaded the mod from them or saw their promotional gateways, you are actively supporting this practice. Please try to obtain files from the original source. Just to mention a few sites to avoid: minecraft-forum.net, 9minecraft.net, ign.com, 8minecraft.com, 9minecraft-mods.blogspot.it, minecraft-inside.ru.
