The Falling Leaves mod is a great addition for Minecraft 1.16+ that adds a beautiful falling leaves effect to leaf blocks. Users can customize which types of leaf blocks will drop leaves, as well as the frequency of their falling. This mod works only on the client side. It is a port from Falling Leaves (Fabric) with a replacement of the graphical interface to datapacks (see below for more information).
The mod settings can be changed in the file fallingleaves-client.toml in the config directory:
- leafSize: changes the size of the leaves;
- leafLifespan: changes the time they disappear;
- leafSpawnRate: changes the number of falling leaves;
- coniferLeafSpawnRate: changes the number of leaves on conifer trees;
- dropFromPlayerPlacedBlocks: determines whether leaves will drop from blocks placed by the player;
- minimumFreeSpaceBelow: indicates how much free space must be below the block for leaves to appear;
- disableWind: disables wind affecting the leaves;
- windlessDimension: lists dimensions where there will be no wind.
