Functional Storage is a unique mod for Minecraft that offers an alternative solution to the storage problem, including an updated appearance and additional features such as: the Extraction upgrade, which extracts items from the adjacent inventory; the Sending upgrade, which sends items to the adjacent inventory; the Collection upgrade, which collects items from the ground; the Armory cabinet, which can store 4096 items that cannot be stacked (by default) and can only be accessed with external tools like Applied Energistics or Refined Storage; storage upgrades: they have changed a bit, now there are fewer types, but they provide a greater boost; a storage controller that can connect to boxes without direct contact; a liquid box that stores liquids; controller extensions that act as a storage controller when connected to it; a simple compact box that looks like a compact box but has only two slots. To use the box controller, you will need a binding tool. You can copy the frequency of an Ender box by left-clicking it with the binding tool and then right-clicking another Ender box, and their contents will synchronize. The binding tool allows you to configure the controller after which you can bind a regular/compact/Ender box to the controller by right-clicking them if they are within range (the default radius is 8 blocks).
