Gendustry is a mod that will significantly simplify your survival with Forestry. The crafts of this mod will be a bit more complex, but you won't regret the time and resources spent, as you will save even more.

The blocks added by this modification will help you study Forestry much more effectively.

First of all, it is worth talking about "industrial apiary".

This is an analog of the Large Hive, but it is much easier to handle.

You can put various upgrades in the apiary that change the climate, add functions, and improve conditions; let's go through them in order.

There are 6 types of simulation upgrades. They emulate certain biomes, such as:

Plains, Winter, Nether, Desert, Jungle, Ocean.

These upgrades are worth using when the bees do not work in the conditions of your biome. The biome for the bees changes to a suitable one, but energy consumption increases. It is very convenient, as you do not need to adjust proportions in the large hive or, worse, go to another biome.

The remaining upgrades complement the functionality of the industrial apiary, there are a total of 15, not counting those we have already discussed.

The following upgrades add unique modifiers and are placed one unit per apiary:

"Light" upgrade.

It will help your bees produce products regardless of the time of day.

"Open Sky" upgrade.

This upgrade allows you to place the apiary in areas shielded from sunlight, for example, you can put it in your house.

"Compaction" upgrade.

Used so that your bees can work in rainy weather.

"Sieve" upgrade.

With this upgrade, bees can collect pollen from nearby trees and store it in the industrial apiary.

"Automation" upgrade..

A useful upgrade that places a princess and a drone in the production slot as soon as the previous cycle is completed.

"Genetic Stabilization" upgrade.

It completely excludes the possibility of your bees collapsing in the industrial apiary.

"Pollen Scrubber" upgrade.

This upgrade completely removes pollination and flowering.

These upgrades partially change one characteristic and are placed up to 4 units:

"Lifespan" upgrade.

This upgrade reduces the lifespan of your bees, most often used for faster breeding.

"Territory" upgrade.

It increases the pollen gathering radius of your bees.

Upgrades that are placed up to 8 units:

"Moistening" and "Drying" upgrades.

These two upgrades are opposite in functionality, drying reduces humidity by 25%, while moistening increases it by the same amount.

"Heating" and "Cooling" upgrades.

These are similar to the previous two upgrades, except that they regulate temperature instead of humidity.

"Flowering" upgrade.

This upgrade increases the speed of pollination and flowering.

"Production" upgrade.

Increases the amount of product produced.

Before discussing the subsequent blocks, it is worth talking about "Laboratory Glassware".

It is used in many blocks we will discuss now, as a consumable that needs to be replenished.

Now we can talk about the next two blocks, which are "Mutagen Producer" and "Mutatron".

These two blocks will help you breed bees and trees without much hassle.

The mutagen producer takes in blocks and items from which mutagen can be obtained. Mutagen is needed for the mutatron to perform breeding. After that, the mutatron is supplied with two types of bees, one princess and one drone, or a sapling and pollen, laboratory glassware, and mutagen is poured in, after which the mutatron begins to breed the necessary types.

There is also an improved version of the mutatron - "Advanced Mutatron".

Its advantage is that we have a choice of the final product, in case there are several options.

To understand the operation of the next two blocks, it is necessary to talk about the items "Empty Gene Sample" and "Genetic Template".

These two items are used to extract genes and subsequently apply them to other bees, trees, and butterflies. To fill the genetic template, you need to combine it with ready gene samples on a regular crafting bench.

And to remove unnecessary genes from the gene sample or genetic template, you just need to smelt them in a furnace, and everything will be erased. We will explain how to fill the empty gene samples further.

The blocks we will discuss next are called "Genetic Sample Extractor" and "Genetic Transposer".

From the name, one can understand that they are interconnected.

The Genetic Sample Extractor extracts a random gene from bees, trees, or butterflies and records them in the empty gene sample. Laboratory glassware is required for it to function.

These gene samples can be copied; for this, we place a ready sample in the genetic transposer along with an empty sample and receive two identical samples with the genes we need.

Next is the "Genetic Imprinter".

For it to work, we need a genetic template with genes recorded on it, laboratory glassware, and a bee to which we want to apply the gene.

Suppose we want our bee to give a poisoning effect. For this, we craft the required genetic template and place it in the imprinter. And now we have an imperial bee that will poison us.

The next three blocks are "DNA Extractor", "Protein Diluter" and "Genetic Replicator".

First, let's talk about the Protein Diluter. This mechanism extracts protein from raw meat and fish that we put into it. This protein will then be useful for the operation of the genetic replicator.

Next is the DNA Extractor. This mechanism extracts DNA from bees, butterflies, saplings, or pollen. To operate it, you need to place laboratory glassware and one of the above-mentioned items, in our case, an imperial drone.

And the last block is the genetic replicator. In it, we can produce new bees, butterflies, or saplings, using protein, DNA, a filled genetic template, and all our knowledge.

And the last thing we will talk about in this mod is "Industrial Garden Knife" and "Scoop MX200 Turbo".

These two items are improved analogs of the garden knife and net from the Forestry mod. The garden knife extracts saplings from foliage with a 100% probability, but the industrial one does this over a small radius while consuming energy.

The Scoop, on the other hand, simply consumes energy instead of durability and collects hives much faster.

This mod is perfect for people who do not like to deal with several bees for hours on end but are still interested in Forestry.
