Immersive Weathering offers a range of new and unique mechanics aimed at adding life and realism to the world. For example, cobblestone becomes covered with moss when exposed to water or moss, bricks crack under intense heat and prolonged time, soot accumulates on rooftops above fires and bonfires, iron rusts when exposed to the elements, icicles form beneath leaves in the cold, a pile of foliage forms under trees, grass blocks grow tall grass and flowers on top over time, and much more. The mod also includes mechanics designed for maximum gameplay convenience, meaning you can change the state of the altering blocks and prevent their alteration if you wish.
