Monster Plus Mod for Minecraft is aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience for players by adding new special enemies characteristic of various game environments, as well as special weapons crafted from their drops, giving players more reasons for battles and exploration. Special mobs include:

- Glowing Skeleton: a variant of the skeleton that spawns only deep underground and is easily detectable due to its glow, similar to the glow of a glowing squid. It is slightly stronger than regular skeletons and leaves a glowing effect on its targets, revealing their position to other mobs. It can spawn with a bow or a stone sword and may drop bones, arrows, a glowing ink sac, and occasionally a glowing stone or phantom arrows.

- Lava Squid: a special type of squid that is capable of flying and spawns in fairly large groups in the Nether. It is usually passive, but when attacked, it becomes aggressive and will shoot fireballs at the enemy, thereby alerting all other lava squids in the nearby vicinity, who will also begin to attack. It drops magma powder and magma cream.

- Mother Lava Squid: a large and powerful lava squid that rarely appears in the Nether. It is always aggressive and alerts all nearby lava squids to attack its targets. While it is alive, it constantly spawns new lava squids to assist it. It drops the same items as lava squids but with higher drop rates and can attack either by launching one large fireball or multiple small fireballs.

Equipment:

- Crystal Set: by killing Crystalians and Bottomless Wanderers, you will receive Ancient Crystal Shards, which can be combined into Ancient Crystals that can then be used to craft powerful weapons.

- Crystal Bomb: a special consumable item that can be thrown to summon Crystal Spikes at the location of its impact.

- Crystal Arrow: a special type of arrow that summons Crystal Spikes at the location of its impact.
