All because of the 8:1 ratio between Nether blocks and the Overworld. However, it's strange that when you pass through a portal to the Overworld, you exit from a different portal. This mod fixes that issue. It tracks the portals the player has passed through to ensure the correct destination when returning through the same portals. The 1:8 ratio is maintained; it's just that the portals become smarter and remember where you came from.
