This mod was created to bridge the gap between diamond and netherite gear. Obsidian tools are slightly better than diamond and worse than netherite. They have a speed roughly the same as stone, but they can mine the same things as netherite. Obsidian gear also has the highest durability in the game and the highest enchantability. Obsidian gear is also fireproof.
