Project: Vibrant Journeys is a world generation mod focused on enhancing vanilla biomes by adding small details to make the world feel more alive and dynamic! Mod update: December 16, 2022. Not dead, just busy. Too much going on in life and work + New Year's vacation. I felt that the biome section of the mod had become too large and bloated and needed to be separated into its own mod to focus on adding new content to existing biomes. The recent update also returns several old features and introduces some new ones. Features (1.18+): Vegetation: Find stones, twigs, fallen leaves, bones, pine cones, shells, and more while traveling through the Minecraft world! Lively biomes: Tall grass variants, fallen trees, cow barns, and Nether flora! Improved lakes: Lakes and ponds have become much more interesting thanks to seagrass, reeds, and lilies! Improved beaches: Beaches are adorned with sea oats, shells, and beach grass! Better ruined portals to the Nether: Ruined portals now have their style and come in sandstone, basalt, warped, and crimson variants! Mini upgrades: webs under tree leaves, the appearance of tropical fish in jungles, and much more! Features (1.16): Vegetation: Find stones, twigs, fallen leaves, bones, pine cones, and more while traveling through the Minecraft world! New biomes: Explore over 20 new biomes such as overgrown spires and green deserts! Improved lakes: Lakes are now much more interesting thanks to seagrass and reeds! Improved beaches: Beaches are adorned with sea oats and shells! Atmospheric mobs: Fireflies, snails, frogs, mollusks, starfish, and much more! Mini upgrades: webs under trees, tropical fish in jungles, more grass in rivers, and bushes on plains!
