RATs Mischief - a mod for Minecraft that adds rats to the game as companions, helpers, and friends. The mod introduces a new friendly mob - the Rat. These little creatures can follow you, protect you, and perform a variety of tasks. The Rat is a new friendly mob that you can pet and is found in abandoned villages. If there are no more inhabitants in the village, rats will start to appear and roam around. The default color of the rat is wild, but you can get a stylish rat color by baptizing them. Like any other friendly mob, rats will fight for you. They deal very little damage to themselves, but since they do not trigger invulnerability periods, they become more dangerous in larger numbers. Rats will pick up any dropped items and bring them back to their owner (this can be disabled by right-clicking on the Rat's master chunk). If the owner's inventory is full, the rats will hold the item in their hands until space is available in the inventory.
