Damage Sources
In this section, you can set objects to be immune to specified damage sources. Vanilla damage sources include "cactus" for cactus damage, "mob" for general entity damage, "player" for player attacks, "arrow" for arrows, "in wall" for suffocation, and "fall" for fall damage, among many others.
If desired, the type of damage can be set depending on the object: for example, "minecraft:zombie;minecraft:skeleton;arrow" will make zombies immune to arrows shot by skeletons, but zombies will still take damage from arrows shot by dispensers, players, and illusioners.
Potion Effect Cancellation
Are you tired of the nausea effect? Do you want all monsters to be immune to withering? In this section, you can set objects to be immune to specified potion effects.
Death Spawns
We all know the monsters from video games that release other monsters upon dying. With the Death Spawn feature, you can recreate this image at will. If you want the Wither to seemingly "transform" into a rabbit upon death, that is possible. If you want Gaia Guardian from Botania to explode into every insect from Erebus when killed, that is also possible. Spawned objects support NBT tags.
Instant Health Recovery
In most boss games, these bosses return to normal if you fail to kill them. Not in Minecraft. Isn't it a shame how lazy "grave rush" strategies are viable even against the most complex modified monsters? No more! In this section, you can set specific entities to restore a percentage of their health every time the given entity dies nearby. This is useful not only for bosses: you can use this to make wolves restore health every time they kill sheep, or players to regain part of their health every time they kill any creature. The "Last Man Standing" field determines if this function activates for each kill. If Last Man Standing is set to true, you can allow boss strategies like in Terraria, where one desperate player can hold off the boss long enough for the rest of the team to respawn and return to the fight. If set to false, any specified object dying within range will heal the main object by the percentage you set.
Mob Defense
A lich with a fire retribution aura; a slime with acidic blood; a summoner cursing archers with blindness. All these features and more are possible with "Mob Defense." In this section, you can specify mobs to apply potion effects to attackers. If desired, you can specify a specific damage source for the effect to trigger: you'll need two lines for "mob" and "player" if you just want the effect triggered by melee attacks.
Mob Offense
Shelters cause hunger; Strays cause slowness; Shulkers make you levitate. But what if every mob could cause a status effect? Mob Offense can make this possible. This feature was inspired by mods like Rough Mobs, which by default include all sorts of features, such as spiders causing slowness, endermen causing blindness, and zombies causing hunger. Mob Offense takes this to the next level, giving you complete control over both monsters and the statuses they can inflict.
Summon Spawn
Have you ever looked at an Evoker and wished other monsters could summon minions? Wish no more. An extremely useful tool for creating custom boss battles, the Summon Spawn feature can allow any creature to call in reinforcements. Options for each entity to enable or disable XP and dropped items from summoned minions ensure you don't accidentally turn your own boss into a lousy source of endless loot. Spawned objects support NBT tags.
Transportation Configuration
The definition of "boat" is a small vessel propelled by oars, sails, or an engine. There is nothing about a "viable death trap for all and any enemies small enough to get stuck." If you’re worried about players using boats to catch monsters, you're nauseated by sheep falling into your item sorter chest based on minecarts, or you don’t want a specific NPC in your world to be shoved into a wagon and transported via it, Vehicle Configuration offers complete control over which objects can mount which objects. Overall, it’s intended for use with vehicles, but you can use it to prevent players from riding pigs or horses or to permanently disable spider jockeys.
Miscellaneous Configuration
A variety of diverse features. Global swim speed multiplier allows you to scale the swim speed of all objects, making every floating object equivalent to a lead weight, or Michael Phelps, or all the best parts of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jesus. The associated blacklist allows you to exclude objects from universal scaling or instead turn it into a whitelist. Natural Spawn Buff removes the silly restriction of transparent or slab blocks preventing mob spawning, allowing monsters to spawn on leaves, slabs, glass, and everything in between.
