The Shield Mechanics mod for Minecraft radically changes the mechanisms of shield usage, adding new parameters and protective capabilities. Now shields have two statistics: damage reduction when blocking and damage reduction when held in the left hand, making the game even more dynamic. Different shields have unique characteristics and levels of protection. It includes five new enchantments for shields, such as Last Resort – a chance to gain absorption hearts when blocking, and Blindness – the ability to blind the attacker. Shield Mechanics is perfect for use with other mods that add new shields to the game.
