Smooth Boot is a mod for Minecraft that optimizes game loading, making it smoother on weak systems and better scaling on powerful systems. If you have a PC with an older or less powerful processor (for example, with 8 or fewer threads), you may have noticed that when loading the game, the processor is loaded at 100% on the loading screen, which causes issues with the cursor and makes multitasking difficult. Smooth Boot completely addresses this issue, and the loading should be much smoother and possibly even faster. The mod features the ability to change the number of threads used for loading, as well as the priority of each thread.
