Sodium is a free mod for optimizing graphics in Minecraft 1.16+. It significantly increases the frame rate and eliminates stuttering by fixing many graphical issues. Sodium is fully compatible with the Fabric mod ecosystem, matching other graphics optimization mods. At the same time, it preserves the original look of the game, so you can enjoy the authentic feel of block gameplay. Installing Sodium is very simple: make sure you have the latest version of Fabric Loader installed, and then just move the mod to the mods folder. You will not need any additional mods or downloads. The mod also provides a new user interface for video settings in Minecraft. By default, Sodium includes all optimizations supported by your system, so no further configuration is required. However, if you want to optimize other aspects of the game, it is recommended to install other mods from the same developers. Many players note a significant improvement in frame rates - from 250% to 500%. Sodium is compatible with many graphics cards released after the middle of 2010.
