Spikes is a mod that adds 5 blocks with spikes that deal damage to any living creature or player that steps on them. Each spike increases the damage dealt per hit, relative to their crafting level, starting from half the damage of a wooden sword and gradually increasing to half the damage of a hit with a diamond sword.
