Winner (individual) of the third 96-hour Modding Marathon ModJam. Based on the series Sync by CorridorDigital. Sync provides clones, or as we like to call them, shells. These shells are essentially new identities with their own inventory, experience level, and even game mode. However, what they lack is consciousness to control them. And that's where the player comes into play. Each shell is biometrically linked to the player whose sample was used to create it, allowing the player to synchronize their consciousness with another shell, effectively creating multiple instances of the player. Place the shell constructor and right-click to provide a sample (careful, it’s painful!). The shell constructor cannot operate without energy, so place a treadmill nearby and lure a pig or wolf to the center of the treadmill to create Pigawatts. A leash will help you with this (you'll get it back). The shell constructor will start building the shell. Once the shell is built, you need to place a shell storage and give it a redstone signal. The indicator will switch to green, and you will be able to enter the storage to activate it. You will have a radial menu with a list of available shells and their positions. Select the shell in the constructor (marked with a Ready indicator) and watch as you synchronize with the new shell. Shell synchronization works across dimensions too! Enter Hell and return through a shell! However, you cannot enter or exit shells in the End due to... technical difficulties. By default, shells provide an extra life to the player. When the shell you are using dies, you immediately synchronize with the nearest available shell. You can mark a preferred shell by right-clicking on the storage with a bed and naming it the home storage. You can also name storages using a shortcut. This extra life feature works in Hardcore mode, so if you have an active backup shell, you won’t have to leave the Hardcore world but will instead synchronize with another shell.
