First, you need to make a book (taumonomicon) because you cannot progress in this modification without it, as this book allows you to begin your journey as a thaumaturge. You crafted the book, opened it, and what's next? Next, as expected, you need to study the entries, and gradually you will reach the completion of your studies in this book. But it's not that simple. For studying, you will need aspects, and to unlock these aspects, you must create a research table, after which you will be able to study new research and discover new aspects. In total, there are 48 aspects in this modification.

In addition, 8 new types of ores are added.

And 3 new biomes are added, namely: Magical Forest.

The Corrupted Biome and the Horrific Biome.

Additionally, throughout the world you will find aura nodes, which will allow you to both take them with you and recharge your wands. Wands (Staves, Rods) are needed for many operations, namely: For crafting items, for starting rituals, for using various tips. Wands are as important as the taumonomicon. Some items have crafting recipes that cannot be done on a crafting table; you need to build a multi-block structure (Runic Altar) for them. Besides everything else, new mobs are added: Evil Zombie, Corrupted Villager, Corrupted Chicken, Cow, Sheep, Pig, Wisp, and Thaum Slime (there are also several other types of mobs).
