For new players, this will increase the damage dealt and reduce the damage taken by the player. For more experienced players, this will slightly increase the damage dealt for each weapon class (over time) and increase the damage taken by the player for a more challenging experience with additional gains in experience and loot.
With each kill, you will earn experience points for specific areas and weapon classes, which are used for dynamically adjusting progress and difficulty for each player.
This means that new players won't be killed every few seconds, while experienced players will find it harder to kill mobs, and they will need to come up with new strategies and better gear.
Depending on your preferred weapon, the durability of items will also be automatically adjusted, allowing you to play with an axe or even a hoe.
